Nan's Late for Bingo: game rules and monthly prize terms

The game and discount codes

  1. “Nan's late for Bingo” (the Game) is run by The Bud Works (we, us) at thebudworks.co.uk. It’s open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
  2. Your score is the gold you collect in a run. Your best run in a calendar month (UK time) decides the discount you can claim:
    • 2,000 or more: 5% off an order over £40
    • 4,000 or more: 10% off an order over £60
    • 6,500 or more: 15% off an order over £100
  3. You can claim one code per calendar month per person and per email address. To claim, you enter your email address and agree to receive Bud Works marketing emails, which is how the code is sent to you. You can unsubscribe at any time, but codes and Prize emails can’t then reach you.
  4. Each code is unique and can be used once. It’s valid until the end of the month after the one you claimed it in. Codes apply only to eligible products (not wholesale or items already on offer) and can’t be combined with other discount codes. They have no cash value.
  5. We may change the score thresholds, discounts and minimum spends for future months.

The monthly prize

  1. The player in 1st place on the monthly leaderboard at 23:59:59 UK time on the last day of a calendar month (the Winner) wins one Bud Works T‑shirt (the Prize).
  2. To be eligible, you must have claimed a discount code in the Game with your email address, and still be subscribed to our emails when the month ends. That’s how we contact the Winner. If the player in 1st place hasn’t, no Prize is awarded for that month. It doesn’t pass to anyone else.
  3. Ties go to whoever reached the score first.
  4. The Winner is emailed a single-use code for the Prize within 14 days of the month ending. The code must be used within 30 days, with a UK delivery address. If it isn’t used in time, the Prize is forfeited.
  5. The Prize is a T‑shirt in the Winner’s choice of available size, delivered free within the UK. There’s no cash alternative, and it can’t be transferred or exchanged.
  6. This is a game of skill. No purchase is necessary to play.
  7. We may check that winning scores were achieved by playing the Game normally. We can withhold the Prize from any score we reasonably believe was achieved by cheating, automation, tampering or exploiting a fault, and award no Prize for that month.
  8. The Winner’s leaderboard display name (not their real name) may be published. Their first name and county are available on request, as UK promotional rules require.

Your data

  1. When you claim, your email address is added to our marketing list (you can unsubscribe at any time) and used to send your code and, if the Winner is you, the Prize. The Game’s own copy of it is deleted after 60 days. See our privacy policy.
  2. Scores and display names are anonymous and don’t identify you.

General

  1. We can suspend, change or end the Game or the Prize if we need to, for example for technical faults or abuse. We’ll honour codes already issued.
  2. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
