It starts as a premium CBD dominant hemp flower, grown in the USA and selected for its terpene quality and cannabinoid content. At source it carries 15.8% CBD and a naturally occurring CBDA profile.
The Bud Works then dusts the flower with 99% pure hemp-derived THCA isolate. The flower is placed with the crystalline isolate and gently tumbled so the powder adheres evenly to the surface of each bud. Clean, simple and completely transparent. The result is a hemp tea flower carrying both CBDA and THCA as plant-derived cannabinoid compounds alongside each other in the cup. The THCA content sits at 24-28% from this process. The price reflects what this product is.
Apple Pie has been a recognised name in cannabis for years, and CBD breeders have worked to keep its sweet-baked character in a CBD dominant plant. This one does. It has the warm, spiced, dessert-forward aroma people know the name for, in a hemp flower with one of the strongest CBD readings in the range.
Myrcene provides the warm, sweet and slightly earthy base. Caryophyllene adds the peppery spice that reads as cinnamon in the cup. Limonene brings a light fruit brightness that lifts the apple character. In the cup the baked apple and cinnamon come through first, the sweet pastry depth builds as the brew steeps, and the earthy spice is there at the finish.

How to brew: break up a small amount of flower and place loosely in your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Full-fat or oat milk and a little honey turn this into the closest thing to dessert in a cup.
