It starts as a premium indoor CBD hemp flower, grown in Switzerland from White family lineage genetics and selected specifically for trichome quality and cannabinoid content. At source it carries 17% CBD and a naturally occurring CBDA profile.
The Bud Works then dusts the flower with 99% pure hemp-derived THCA isolate. The flower is placed with the crystalline isolate and gently tumbled so the powder adheres evenly to the surface of each bud - sitting alongside the extraordinary natural trichome coverage the White genetics already produce. Clean, simple and completely transparent. The result is a hemp tea flower carrying both CBDA and THCA as plant-derived cannabinoid compounds alongside each other in the cup. The THCA content is calculated to 32% from this process. The price reflects what this product is.
The genetics behind Snowflake are worth understanding because they explain everything about the visual character. The White family lineage traces back through two of the most celebrated and most imitated cultivars in cannabis history. The White became famous in the early 2000s as a clone-only cut of unknown origins that produced buds so densely coated in trichomes they appeared almost white - an extraordinary expression of resin production that gave it its name and earned it a reputation that’s never really faded. White Widow, bred by Green House Seeds in the Netherlands, brought a similar trichome density alongside the sweet, earthy-gassy aromatic character that defines this genetic family. Myrcene provides the earthy, warm and grounding base. Caryophyllene adds the peppery, spiced gassy depth that sits at the primary level. Limonene contributes the sweet citrus brightness. How to brew: break up a small amount of flower and place loosely in your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Full-fat or oat milk softens the gas edge and brings the earthy pine warmth forward.
