We want to be upfront about what this product is and how it's made. Lemon Thai hemp tea flower is a two-stage product. It starts as a premium indoor CBD hemp flower, grown in the USA from Thai-lineage genetics and selected for its terpene quality and cannabinoid content. At source it carries 14.2% CBD and a naturally occurring CBDA profile.
The Bud Works then dusts the flower with 99% pure hemp-derived THCA isolate. The flower is placed with the crystalline isolate and gently tumbled so the powder adheres evenly to the surface of each bud. Clean, simple and completely transparent. The result is a hemp tea flower carrying both CBDA and THCA as plant-derived cannabinoid compounds alongside each other in the cup. The THCA content sits at 24-28% from this process. The price reflects what this product is.
Thai genetics have a long history in cannabis breeding. The landrace sativas of Thailand were among the first to travel west and their sharp, citrus-led character runs through a surprising number of the profiles people know today. Lemon Thai keeps that character front and centre. It isn't a dessert profile and it doesn't try to be. It's bright, zesty and clean.
Limonene leads, giving the sharp lemon zest that defines the profile from the first pour. Myrcene adds a soft, rounded base that stops the citrus tipping into sourness. Caryophyllene brings a light peppery spice on the close. In the cup the lemon hits first, the sweeter lemon-lime body opens as the brew steeps, and the herbal spice is there at the finish. One of the lightest and freshest cups in the range.

How to brew: break up a small amount of flower and place loosely in your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Best without milk - the citrus is at its brightest in a straight brew. A slice of fresh ginger works well alongside it.
