MANALI THCA HASH TEA
MANALI THCA HASH TEA
Manali Hash draws its name and its character from the Kullu Valley in the Indian Himalayas, one of the most celebrated hash-producing regions in the world. Traditional Manali charas is hand-rubbed from living plants in the mountain valleys above the town of Manali, producing a richly layered resin with a character shaped by altitude, climate and generations of cultivation knowledge. The terpene profile is dominated by Guaiol, Myrcene and Beta-Caryophyllene, producing layers of sweet honey, warm pine and floral spice with earthy musk and a subtle diesel depth at the base. A genuinely distinctive and heritage-rooted hemp tea. Pressed hash format. Brewed as a tea.

DESCRIPTION
Hemp has been pressed and hand-rubbed into hash in the Himalayan regions of India for centuries. The Kullu Valley above Manali in Himachal Pradesh is one of the most historically significant hemp-producing areas in the world, where traditional charas production has been passed down through generations of cultivators who understood the plant in ways that much of the modern world is only beginning to appreciate. Traditional Manali charas is produced by hand-rubbing fresh, resin-rich hemp plants to collect the resin directly from the living plant surface, then slowly rolling it into a dense, cohesive form. The altitude, climate and landrace genetics of the Himalayan region produce a terpene character that's distinctly its own.
The Manali terpene profile is dominated by Guaiol, an unusual terpene associated with a woody, piney and slightly floral aromatic character that's rarely seen as a dominant compound in modern hemp genetics. This immediately distinguishes the Manali profile from almost everything else in the range. Myrcene contributes the earthy, warm and musky base character. Beta-Caryophyllene provides the peppery, warm spice depth. Together the three produce a profile that opens with sweet honey and warm pine, develops through floral spice and herbal complexity, and finishes with earthy musk and a subtle diesel depth at the base. In the cup this character develops gradually across the steep. Give it the full five minutes.
All ingredients are independently lab tested. We calculate cannabinoid percentages from verified constituent lab reports. Certificate of Analysis available on this page.
How to brew: break a small piece and place in your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Adding full-fat or oat milk brings the honey and sweet pine character forward and is particularly good with this profile.
Sold for hot water infusion and herbal tea use only. Do not combust, vape or expose to high temperatures. Store sealed, away from heat and direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Not for use by persons under 18.

Heat Exposure Risk Notice
If this tea extract is exposed to combustion or sufficiently high heat (well above brewing temperature), decarboxylation may occur, resulting in the chemical conversion of THCA into Δ9-THC.
Δ9-THC is classified as a controlled substance under UK law. Any alteration of the cannabinoid profile through heat exposure may therefore change the legal status of the material.
Potential Side Effects of Δ9-THC:
In some individuals, Δ9-THC has been associated with adverse physiological or psychological responses. Reported adverse responses include disorientation, anxiety, altered perception, impaired coordination, nausea, increased heart rate, and temporary cognitive disturbance.
These risks do not apply to normal brewing at or below boiling point, and may arise only through combustion, vaporisation, or other misuse.

Manali THCA Hash Tea | The Bud Works
Manali is a small town in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh in the Indian Himalayas, and it lends its name to one of the most celebrated hash traditions in the world. The mountain valleys above Manali have been cultivating hemp and producing hand-rubbed charas for centuries, using techniques passed down through generations of cultivators who understood the altitude, climate and landrace genetics of the region in ways that produced a character no other place on earth fully replicates. Traditional Manali charas is produced by hand-rubbing living plants to collect resin directly from the surface, then rolling it slowly into a dense sphere. The resulting hash is known for its honeyed sweetness, pine resin depth and distinctive floral warmth.
The terpene profile built around the Manali character reflects that heritage. Guaiol dominates, an unusual choice as a primary terpene and one that immediately sets this profile apart from most of what exists in the modern hemp market. Guaiol is associated with a woody, piney and slightly floral aromatic character that's distinctly different from the Myrcene-heavy profiles that dominate the conventional hash category. Myrcene provides the warm earthy base and Beta-Caryophyllene adds peppery spice depth. In the cup the honey and pine character opens the brew. Floral spice and warm herbal notes develop through the steep. Earthy musk and a subtle diesel depth are there at the base when the brew has fully opened. Adding milk brings the honey and sweet pine character forward noticeably and is the recommended approach.
Manali sits alongside the Nepalese Temple Ball and Afghan in the range's traditional heritage hash tea category. It's a different Himalayan tradition to the Nepalese one but equally deep-rooted and equally worth experiencing for anyone who wants to connect their hemp tea ritual with the cultures and histories where the plant has always been most understood.
THCA as a Naturally Occurring Hemp Compound
THCA is tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, a naturally occurring compound found in raw hemp. It belongs to the same family of plant compounds as CBDA found in hemp flower. Just as ginger contains compounds in its raw form that change when cooked, THCA exists in its natural acid form in unheated hemp. It's non-psychoactive in this state and is not a controlled substance under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. Brewing hemp as a tea at temperatures well below decarboxylation threshold keeps the compound in its natural form. The Bud Works sells all THCA products exclusively for hot water infusion. Combustion and vaping are not an intended or supported use.
All ingredients are independently lab tested and we calculate cannabinoid percentages from verified constituent lab reports. Delta-9 THC is below 0.2%, within UK legal limits. Sold for hot water infusion only.
