DESCRIPTION
Hemp has been pressed into hash for centuries. The process consolidates resin-rich plant material into a dense, cohesive form that brews cleanly and consistently in hot water. One of the oldest and most established hemp formats in existence and one of the most practical for a daily tea ritual. Break a piece, place it in an infuser, pour hot water over it and the cannabinoids and terpenes release steadily through the steep.
What makes Sherbet Piss different to most of the hash range is what's in it. This is a Type 2 hemp product. Most hemp products sit firmly in one cannabinoid category - high THCA, high CBD or high CBG. Type 2 hemp carries an elevated concentration of both THCA and CBG simultaneously, producing a cannabinoid profile that most products can't offer. At 45% THCA and 40% CBG, Sherbet Piss is as close to a 50/50 split of the two most THCA-adjacent cannabinoids the plant produces as you're going to find.
CBG - cannabigerol - is often called the mother of all cannabinoids, and the description is accurate. CBGA, the acid form of CBG, is the precursor compound from which most other major cannabinoids are synthesised in the plant. THCA, CBDA and CBCA all derive from CBGA during the plant's growth cycle. By the time most hemp plants are harvested, the majority of CBGA has already converted to those downstream cannabinoids - which is why CBG typically appears at trace levels of around 1% in most products. Getting to 40% CBG requires specific genetics, careful cultivation and deliberate selection. It's not common and it's not easy.
Early research into CBG is at the preclinical stage but is generating genuine interest. Studies have explored its potential anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective and antibacterial properties. CBG appears to interact with the endocannabinoid system differently to THCA and CBD, working across multiple receptor pathways in ways that researchers are still mapping. What's increasingly well understood is that cannabinoids don't operate in isolation - the presence of multiple cannabinoids in a single product creates what's known as the entourage effect, where the compounds interact and potentially enhance each other's properties rather than working alone. A cup with 45% THCA and 40% CBG together is a different experience to a cup with either one on its own.

How to brew: break a small piece and place in your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Full-fat or oat milk brings the creamy sherbet character forward and works well with this one.
