That's where the sharp grapefruit citrus and sour fuel-edged character comes from. The GG#4 CBD Conversion is the pollen donor - Oregon CBD's project to bring the structural density, resin production and fuel-forward terpene complexity of Gorilla Glue #4 into a fully compliant Type 3 plant. Together they produce a terpinolene-dominant, sour-candy forward profile with the gassy diesel depth from the GG#4 genetics running underneath.
Terpinolene leads and defines the primary aromatic character - sharp sour grapefruit and sour citrus candy that's immediately and boldly noticeable. Ocimene adds sweet tropical brightness that stops the profile being purely sharp. Caryophyllene provides the GG#4 diesel depth and peppery structure underneath. This is a daytime flower. The terpinolene and ocimene-dominant profile produces an energising, uplifting and clear-headed character - bright and alive in the cup rather than settling or grounding. Not one for the evening.

How to brew: break up a small amount of flower and place loosely in your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. A splash of full-fat or oat milk helps the fat-soluble cannabinoids integrate into the brew. Worth trying it without milk first on this one - the sour character is vivid and striking on its own.
