DESCRIPTION
London Gold is The Bud Works' flagship in-house extract. Built around four terpene lineages that each pull in a different direction, the profile sits outside any single category and is more interesting for it.
The TBW numbering system catalogues in-house blends developed here. Each one is a deliberate combination, built to produce something that doesn't come off a standard supply line. TBW#1006 has been in the range long enough to earn its place as the one that represents what the programme is about.
The profile moves through distinct layers. Watermelon Zkittlez leads with a clean, fresh and juicy sweetness at the primary level. Rootbeer GMO adds something genuinely unusual underneath, a warm sarsaparilla-adjacent herbal depth from the Root Beer parent cutting through the earthy, gas-adjacent character of the GMO side. Mimosa brings sparkling citrus and a grape-adjacent lift to the mid-layer. Blue Raspberry Haze keeps the top end tart and bright with berry and herbal top notes that stop the whole profile from settling into one place. In the cup it develops as it steeps. Worth giving it the full four to five minutes.
The extract is viscous and resinous in consistency, defined by cannabis-derived terpenes that reflect the combined character of all four lineages. No synthetic flavouring agents, no additives, no fillers.

How to brew: add a small amount to your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. A splash of full-fat or oat milk helps the fat-soluble compounds integrate into the brew. The extract won't fully dissolve and that's normal.

THCA as a Naturally Occurring Hemp Compound
THCA is tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, a naturally occurring compound found in raw hemp. It belongs to the same family of plant compounds as CBDA found in hemp flower. Just as ginger contains compounds in its raw form that change when cooked, THCA exists in its natural acid form in unheated hemp. It's non-psychoactive in this state and is not a controlled substance under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
