DESCRIPTION
Live resin as a format is defined by its terpene richness. Traditionally produced from fresh-frozen plant material to preserve the native aromatic profile before any degradation can occur, it's the extract format most associated with a broad, expressive and complex terpene character. Viscous and resinous in consistency, it releases its profile gradually into hot water which makes the brew time worth taking seriously.
TBW#1013 is a house designation. The Bud Works develops proprietary terpene blends in-house and catalogues them under the TBW numbering system. Each one is a deliberate combination built to produce something that doesn't exist anywhere else. This one brings together three lineages that work well precisely because they pull in different directions.
Pineapple Express, a Trainwreck and Hawaiian cross, leads the profile with tropical fruit and citrus primary notes. Bright and clean at the top. New Glue, a backcross of Gorilla Glue #4 derived from Chem's Sister, Sour Dubb and Chocolate Diesel, brings the gas-adjacent and earthy mid-layer that stops the profile sitting purely in the fruit-forward category. Lemon Cherry Gelato, from Sunset Sherbet and Girl Scout Cookies, rounds the base with citrus, cherry and sweet creamy depth. The three layers work together and you can pick them apart in the cup if you brew it slowly and give it time.

How to brew: add a small amount to your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. A splash of full-fat or oat milk helps the fat-soluble compounds integrate into the brew. The extract won't fully dissolve and that's completely normal.

It's non-psychoactive in this state and is not a controlled substance under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
