Hemp has been pressed into hash for centuries. The process consolidates resin-rich plant material into a dense, cohesive form that brews cleanly and consistently in hot water. One of the oldest and most established hemp formats in existence and one of the most practical for a daily tea ritual. Break a piece, place it in an infuser, pour hot water over it and the profile releases steadily through the steep.
Lemon Cherry Gelato is derived from Sunset Sherbet and Girl Scout Cookies. The Sunset Sherbet side contributes the sweet creamy and fruit-adjacent base character that sits underneath the whole profile and gives it its smoothness. Girl Scout Cookies adds the depth and complexity that stops it being purely sweet and approachable. Limonene dominates at the primary level and delivers the bright, clean citrus and lemon-forward character that the profile is known for. The cherry-adjacent fruit notes sit between the citrus primary and the creamy base, adding a depth and warmth that gives the profile its particular identity. Caryophyllene contributes light peppery structure throughout. In the cup the lemon and citrus character comes through clearly from the first pour. The cherry notes develop in the mid-steep and the sweet creamy base is there at the end of the brew when the full profile has opened up.

How to brew: break a small piece and place in your infuser or tea bag. Pour water at around 80°C. Steep for 4 to 5 minutes. A splash of full-fat or oat milk helps the fat-soluble compounds integrate into the brew and brings the creamy character forward nicely.
