White Runtz is a hybrid phenotype of Runtz, the Zkittlez x Gelato cross, picked out for its heavy white frost. It's known for citrus and sweet candy up top with a peppery, earthy depth underneath. In the UK it's available from The Bud Works as a lab-tested THCA piatella hash tea.
Where White Runtz came from
White Runtz came out of the Runtz programme in California. Runtz itself is Zkittlez x Gelato, and as growers worked through its phenotypes, one stood out for trichome coverage so dense the flowers looked white.
That cut was named White Runtz. It shares its parents with Runtz but has its own following, mostly for a brighter, more citrus-led nose.

Zkittlez brings the sweet, candy-like fruit that the whole Runtz family is known for.

Citrus and sweet candy first, then a sweet herbal note. Underneath sit pepper and earth from caryophyllene and humulene, which give the profile structure.
Compared with Runtz, it's brighter and more citrus-led, with less of the creamy Gelato weight.

At The Bud Works, White Runtz comes as piatella, traditionally one of the most refined and labour-intensive hash formats. Our current batch is lab tested at 52% THCA, led by limonene, ocimene and caryophyllene, with Delta-9 THC at or below the 0.2% UK limit. It's small batch and limited.
